The Ngamba Island Volunteer Experience
Are you ready to go beyond being a tourist? Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary invites passionate individuals to step behind the scenes and contribute to the daily care of over 53 rescued chimpanzees.
Our Volunteer Program, available for 1 to 4 weeks, is a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of primate conservation. As a volunteer, you will not just be watching from the sidelines; you will become an integral part of our team.
You will assist our dedicated caregivers in food preparation, data collection, behavioral observation, enrichment creation, and sanctuary maintenance, all while surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of Lake Victoria.
