We believe that long-term conservation is only possible through education. Our outreach programs target youth in schools and adults in communities to foster a culture of environmental stewardship and sustainable living.

School Outreach Program

We work with schools throughout the Albertine region to integrate conservation education into their standard curriculum. Our "Change My Community" initiative encourages students to identify local environmental issues and design practical solutions, empowering them to be changemakers.

To reach wider audiences, we produce and air an entertaining radio drama series centered around conservation themes. This popular program uses storytelling to address complex issues like poaching, deforestation, and human-wildlife conflict in a relatable way.

Sustainable Livelihoods

Conservation must benefit people too. We support communities in adopting sustainable livelihood options such as mushroom growing, apiary (beekeeping), and wood-efficient stoves. These alternatives reduce reliance on forest resources and improve household incomes.
